What is a China-Pakistan Certificate of Origin?

The China-Pakistan Certificate of Origin refers to the certificate of origin for China-Pakistan trade. In international trade, different certificates of origin may be involved. Types of Certificates of Origin

It serves as proof for the beneficiary country's export products to enjoy preferential import tariff reductions or exemptions in the donor country.

(B) General Certificate of Origin

Issued by each country based on its own rules of origin and relevant requirements, this certificate is an important document for the importing country's customs to levy tariffs, conduct trade statistics, and implement quantitative restrictions. In China, it certifies that the goods comply with the Rules of Origin of the People's Republic of China for Import and Export Goods and originate from China.

(C) Certificate of Origin for Regional Economic Group Countries

This certificate is used by countries within economic blocs that have signed regional trade agreements to enjoy mutual tariff reductions or exemptions. Examples include the Bangkok Agreement Certificate of Origin, the Commonwealth Preferential Tariff Certificate of Origin, and the North American Free Trade Agreement Certificate of Origin.
