1. General Certificate of Origin (C/O): A general certificate of origin is a document proving that goods originate in a specific country or region and are entitled to normal customs duty (most-favored-nation) treatment in the importing country. Its scope of application includes: tariff collection, trade statistics, discriminatory quantitative restrictions, anti-dumping and countervailing duties, origin marking, government procurement, etc. Any country can issue a CO. 2. Form A is an official certificate with legal effect that allows Chinese export products to further reduce or exempt import tariffs on the basis of the preference-giving countries' tariff rates. There are 38 countries in the world that grant China preferential treatment (meaning F/A is only done for exports to these countries): the 27 EU member states (Belgium, Denmark, UK, Germany, France, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Greece, Portugal, Spain, Austria, Finland, Sweden, Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Latvia, Estonia, Lithuania, Hungary, Malta, Cyprus, Slovenia, Bulgaria, Romania), Norway, Switzerland, Turkey, Russia, Belarus, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Japan, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand. 3. Form E is a preferential certificate of origin used in the China-ASEAN Free Trade Area. Currently, the countries to which China issues Form E certificates include Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam—10 countries in total. Form D is the ASEAN Free Trade Area certificate of origin. (Form D is equivalent to Form E; internationally, Form D is commonly preferred.)

5. "China-Pakistan Free Trade Area" Preferential Certificate of Origin (Form P/FTA).
For Pakistan, the "China-Pakistan Free Trade Area" Preferential Certificate of Origin may be issued. Since January 1, 2006, the two sides have initially implemented tariff reductions on over 3,000 tariff line products, applying zero tariffs and preferential tariffs respectively. Tariffs on 486 eight-digit zero-tariff products originating in China will be gradually reduced in three stages over two years, reaching zero on January 1, 2008. Preferential tariffs apply to 486 eight-digit zero-tariff products originating in China, with an average preference margin of 22%. Tariff preference margins on goods enjoying tariff preferences range from 1% to 10%.

6. "Asia-Pacific Trade Agreement" Preferential Certificate of Origin (Form M).
Countries that can issue the "Asia-Pacific Trade Agreement" preferential certificate of origin include: South Korea, Sri Lanka, and India (3 countries). Tariff preference margins on goods enjoying tariff preferences range from 0% to 30%.

7. Certificate of Origin for Textile Products Exported to the EU, full name: CERTIFICATE OF ORIGIN (TEXTILE PRODUCTS), also abbreviated as C/O. To distinguish it from the general C/O, you can call it C/O FOR TEXTILE PRODUCTS. The certificate of origin for textile products exported to the EU is a certificate of origin specific to textile categories exported to EU countries and is applied for through the Bureau of Trade and Industry.

Textile products exported to the EU require a textile certificate of origin:
