"Guangxi Ports", "What ports are in Guangxi", "Which ports does Guangxi have"?

Beibu Gulf Port

Beibu Gulf Port is located on the Beibu Gulf in the southern part of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, China, and is one of the major coastal ports in China. Beibu Gulf Port borders Yunnan, Guizhou, and Sichuan to the north, Guangdong, Hainan, Hong Kong, and Macau to the east, Vietnam to the west, and Hainan Island to the south. It is situated at the junction of the South China Economic Zone, the Southwest Economic Zone, and the ASEAN Economic Zone, making it the most convenient maritime gateway for China's inland hinterland to enter ASEAN countries in the Indochina Peninsula. The Beibu Gulf includes Fangchenggang Port, Qinzhou Port, and Beihai Port.

Fangchenggang Port

Fangchenggang Port is located on the coast of the Beibu Gulf in Guangxi, adjacent to both the sea and the border. It lies at the intersection of the South China Economic Zone, the Southwest Economic Zone, and the ASEAN Economic Zone. It is the only city in "Guangxi Ports" that connects with ASEAN countries by both land and sea, and is the most convenient land-sea gateway for China's inland hinterland to reach ASEAN countries in the Indochina Peninsula.

Qinzhou Port

Qinzhou Port, a national economic and technological development zone, is located on the southern coast of China within Qinzhou Bay of the Beibu Gulf. It backs onto the vast southwest region and faces Southeast Asia, enjoying an exceptionally advantageous geographical position. It was once planned as the second-largest port in southern China in Dr. Sun Yat-sen's "The International Development of China," second only to Guangzhou Port. Qinzhou Port is a natural deep-water port on China's southwest coast, featuring wide waters, gentle waves, minimal sediment inflow, and stable banks, providing favorable conditions for constructing deep-water berths.

Beihai Port

Beihai Port is located in the southernmost part of Guangxi, on the coast of the Beibu Gulf in the South China Sea, and is an important port for Guangxi's opening-up. Beihai Port is a crucial outlet to the sea for the southwest region among "Guangxi Ports" and one of Guangxi's major foreign trade coastal ports. Situated in Beihai City, it is a natural deep-water port with unobstructed shipping lanes, wide harbors, and deep waters.

Guigang Port

Guigang Port is located at the junction of the southwest and south China economic zones. It serves as a major transshipment port for the southwestern region's eastward route to the sea and a "bridgehead" for the logistics corridor of the Pan-Pearl River Delta Economic Zone and the China-ASEAN Free Trade Area. In terms of rail, it connects to all parts of the country via the Li-Zhan Railway and the Nan-Kun Railway. The efficient integration of waterway, railway, and roadway transport modes endows Guigang Port with strong development capabilities.

Wuzhou Port

Wuzhou Port is located at the confluence of the Gui River, Xun River, and Xi River in Wuzhou City, a key "Guangxi Port," serving as the throat of Guangxi's inland waterway transport. Traveling downstream eastward, it can reach Guangzhou, Hong Kong, and Macau; sailing upstream westward on the Xun River, it connects to Nanning, Baise, and Liuzhou; heading north along the Gui River, it arrives at Guilin. As a vital hub in the comprehensive transport system, Wuzhou Port is being gradually developed into a comprehensive port that focuses on the transport of containers, general cargo, energy, and building materials, correspondingly develops port-side industries and modern logistics, and accommodates passenger transport, with functions including loading/unloading, storage, transshipment, port-side industry, modern logistics, and tourism passenger transport. Additionally, there are ports like Nanning Port, Baise Port, Chongzuo Port, Liuzhou Port, and Laibin Port.
